United States Donors:
"On the
issue of charitable donations from the United States donors must make their
gift to a US registered charitable organisation (one that has 501(c)3
status). A number of possibilities exist here for example donors may already
have an existing fund with a US Community Foundation through which they can
direct a gift to the DEF. In other cases it might be appropriate to use an
existing charitable organisation with interests in Northern Ireland.
